As a System Engineer at Saab, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful development of surveillance functions in our product offerings. Your primary responsibility will be to design, implement, and maintain a secure and efficient development environment for our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Development Environment Management: Design and maintain a well-structured development environment system, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously upgrade and enhance the development environment through new releases and/or patches, analyzing impacts, modifications, and additions to meet the needs of development projects.
  • Security and Compliance: Participate in investigations regarding security and system enhancements, ensuring compliance with cyber security and formal company security regulations.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating on Agile projects, and communicating effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
  • IT Background: Possess a strong IT background, either through formal education or self-taught experience.
  • Data Center Management: Have experience in data center management, formal handling of networks, and applications.
  • Operating System Knowledge: Be familiar with operating systems such as LINUX and/or Windows.
  • Automation Skills: Possess practice in automation, including scripting and tools like ANSIBLE.
  • Language Skills: Be fluent in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.
