We are seeking a talented Scrap Yard Lead to join our team, who shares our passion for sustainability and innovation. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials and equipment in the Meltshop.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage daily scrap yard operations, including troubleshooting and repair in the scrap yard area.
    • Optimize operations and collaborate with the Scrap Yard Manager to meet production goals, maintain equipment, and support team development and cost reduction.
    • Ensure scrap yard safety standards and regulations, conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures as needed.
    • Manage inventory of the scrap yard and adjust as needed to meet operations demand.
    • Develop and implement work procedures to ensure proper scrap classification to assist operations.
    • Collaborate with other departments, including production and automation teams, to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration within a multicultural team, ensuring inclusivity and respect for diverse viewpoints.
