We are seeking a highly skilled Product Designer to join our international R&D team at Airspace. As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in our global expansion and design features to improve our capabilities in serving the time-critical needs of customers and industries worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a diverse group of software engineers, product managers, and product designers to develop innovative product features.
- Conduct in-depth research in the time-critical logistics domain to understand user behavior and requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders from various Airspace departments to ensure product design aligns with business needs and company vision.
- Work closely with Directors of Product and Engineering to align roadmaps, priorities, and resource requirements.
- Conduct user research to identify needs, behaviors, and pain points of internal and external users.
- Translate user insights and business goals into design concepts and solutions.
- Create interactive prototypes and wireframes to test and validate design ideas and flows.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented correctly.
- Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results to enhance usability and user satisfaction.
- Shadow and interview users to identify top problem areas and validate desirable solutions.
- Drive innovation and evolution of our product by defining feature requirements and writing user stories.
- 2+ years of experience as a product designer or in similar roles.
- Passionate, friendly, and humble individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Curious and hungry to learn, with deep customer empathy and curiosity.
- Experience in defining detailed and well-researched product features.
- Excited about helping teams deliver impactful user experiences.
- Confident in agile development practices and working with JIRA, Confluence, and the Google G-Suite.
- Familiar with tools like Figma and Miro.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with English as a must and all other European languages a plus.
