The Opportunity

In this role, you will combine technical skills with leadership abilities, leading a sub-project team of control engineers and contributing to their development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a sub-project team of control engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for customers.
  • Take overall technical responsibility for the team's technical scope of work, ensuring scheduling requirements and agreed goals are met.
  • Combine the lead role with a design role in one or several technical areas, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Embody Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, prioritizing responsibility, colleague care, and business well-being.

Requirements:

  • A confident leader with exceptional communication skills, facilitating teamwork at all levels.
  • A degree in Engineering (BSc or MSc) with specialization in electrical systems, automatic control theory, software engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in similar technical engineering positions, focusing on design and implementation of electrical power plants, converter stations, process control systems, or substation automation.
  • Strong organizational, responsive, and solution-driven skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
  • Fluency in English is required, with Swedish being a valuable asset.
