Railway Substructure Design Expert

COWI is seeking a skilled Railway Substructure Design Expert to join our dynamic team in Sweden.

This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting and large-scale projects, driving the development of railway substructure design within COWI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design railway substructures within a BIM environment.
• Mentor and support junior designers in their professional growth.
• Prepare various contract documents for both large and small assignments.
• Participate in early project phases, such as feasibility studies and railway plans.
• Develop technical studies, drawings, reports, etc., and manage reviews with authorities.

In this role, you will have the chance to influence some of the most exciting infrastructure projects in Sweden and across the Nordics.

Requirements:

• A degree in engineering or an equivalent relevant education in railway engineering.
• Experience with Bentley products and view BIM as a natural part of the workflow.
• At least 5 years of experience in design, preferably from another consulting engineering firm or a technically strong client organization.
• Experience in a technical role within railway substructure design in Swedish projects for Trafikverket.
• Fluent in Swedish and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Salary: SEK 85,000 - SEK 110,000 per year, depending on experience.
