Diagnostic Technologist II Per Diem

We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technologist II Per Diem to join our team at Tucson Medical Center. In this role, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment and performing a variety of tasks related to diagnostic imaging procedures.

**Job Description:**

The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiology and imaging technologies, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic testing procedures and provide exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities:**

• Operate imaging equipment according to manufacturer's instructions and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Position patients and instruct them on the procedure to ensure accurate and effective imaging results.
• Maintain production and quality of images by following established standards and guidelines.
• Assist in the clinical education of students and peers.

**Requirements:**

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• One year of related CT or Mammography experience preferred but not required.
• Arizona Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Certified Mammography Tech (CMT), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
