Job Title: Head of Program

Location: RFSL office in Stockholm, with flexibility for remote work within Sweden

Type: Full-time, permanent position

Description:

RFSL seeks a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our team in Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus. As our Head of Program, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic and operational work of the team, ensuring timely program delivery, and initiating and coordinating new grant applications. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and program management skills, as well as a deep understanding of international development and LGBTQI rights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team and coordinate its work
  • Evaluate and monitor program activities, including budget oversight
  • Initiate and coordinate new grant applications

Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A proven track record in international development, leadership, and grant management
  • At least 5 years of experience in international development or civil society organizations, preferably including experience working in repressive contexts and/or conflict zones
  • Strong financial management and donor relations experience
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • A degree in international relations, political science, or related fields, or equivalent experience
