We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our team at Sandvik Group. As a Patent Attorney, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creation and maintenance of a strong patent portfolio for our Business Area segment Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS).

• Support the development and implementation of IP strategies to protect and enhance our patent portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, legal, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective IP management.
• Prepare and prosecute patent applications, handle opposition proceedings, and disputes.
• Conduct freedom to operate investigations and provide IP support for M&A activities.

• University degree in a relevant technical field.
• Patent Attorney registration to practice for a patent office.
• Experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications in a mechanical technical field.
• Advanced skills in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of Swedish or German is a plus.
