Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities:
Tanium is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales Development Representative to join our growing business. The ideal candidate will work closely with our marketing teams, partner community, and sales teams to build a strong foundation for a long-term technology sales career.
Key Accountabilities:
- Schedule highly qualified meetings for field sales team members using a defined sales methodology and leveraging sales strategies within the territory
- Manage lead generation and follow-up activity on inbound leads for the territory
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, partners, and product teams on messaging, field events, and defined campaigns
- Build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and current trends in the marketplace through regular trainings and enablement
- Develop strong communications skills and learn how to deliver effective reporting back to the business
- Meet or exceed minimum weekly activity metrics: calls, emails, conversations, and meetings
- Work closely with the team and business partners in a highly collaborative environment
The Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related area, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of Enterprise SaaS or Security experience preferred
- Demonstrate passion about being part of a team focused on helping customers solve pressing needs in Security and IT, while driving innovation and collaborations across the business
- Build strong relationships across the business and become a trusted resource for the team
- Work closely with a high-energy, dynamic sales team in optimizing strategic sales approaches
- Be eager to learn, committed to improving 1% every day, and open to feedback
- Possess a competitive mentality that drives excellence
