We are seeking a skilled Co-principal oboist to join our team at the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Sweden's National Orchestra.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in classical music performance, with excellent technical skill and musicality. They should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Job Summary:
  • Perform as Co-principal oboist, contributing to the overall artistic vision and direction of the orchestra.
  • Collaborate with section leaders and colleagues to maintain high standards of musicianship and ensemble cohesion.
Requirements:
  • An advanced degree from a prestigious music institution or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional orchestral experience, preferably in a leading European orchestra.
