We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Embryologist to join our team at Västerås IVF AB. As a Clinical Specialist in Embryology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our laboratory.

• Perform all clinical embryology and andrology duties following established protocols and guidelines.
• Participate in laboratory maintenance tasks and assist in validation to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Assist in the management and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure seamless operations.
• Oversee the procurement of laboratory products and services to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients to inform them of treatment options and outcomes, and discuss the implications.
• Meet laboratory key performance indexes for all critical laboratory tasks to ensure excellence in patient care.
• Assist in the implementation of decisions regarding the embryology area to drive continuous improvement.

• Life sciences degree.
• PhD or Masters in reproductive science is preferred.
• At least 3 years of hands-on clinical embryology experience.
• A willingness to learn Swedish - relevant language skills are considered positive (e.g., understanding Scandinavian languages).
