We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team at Embark Studios as a Data Scientist. This role will play a critical part in designing, developing, and optimizing automated tools and simulations to support our game economy systems.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders, designers, and other developers to provide the necessary tooling to sustain a robust and growing in-game economy. This is a central aspect of our game, and we are looking for someone who can help us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop simulations that model various economic scenarios, enabling us to test and optimize in-game mechanics more efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the in-game economy, providing valuable insights to inform our decision-making.
  • Offer recommendations based on performance data to enhance player experiences and revenue generation.
  • Support designers by providing them with the necessary tools and data to balance in-game currencies, resources, and crafting mechanics.
  • Ensure a balanced and engaging experience for our players.

Requirements:

  • A creative and curious mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Experience in building and running simulations of economies.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for gaming and understanding of in-game economies is a plus.
  • Professional English communication skills.
