Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of application engineers distributed to different delivery teams in our Center of Excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the product teams have the right competencies by strategically managing resources. This role requires a genuine interest in the development and growth of individuals, providing vision, security, and clarity on their journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of up to 13 application engineers
  • Ensure product teams have the right competencies
  • Strategically manage resources
  • Provide vision, security, and clarity to team members
  • Navigate multiple stakeholders' demands

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience of at least 10 years
  • Prior experience in working with SAP EWM resources
  • Experience in setting and handling resource allocation budgets
  • Ability to coach others in a way that enables them to grow professionally and to increase their performance
  • Knowledge of a large enterprise, ideally from a similar industry with complex backend systems
