Job Title:

MEP Quantity Surveyor, Sweden

Job Summary:

As a senior quantity surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration and change order process associated with MEP packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate all changes, ensuring accurate costings and validation prior to issuing to the design team.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with architects and/or clients.
  • Conduct cost analyses for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Value completed work and arrange payments.
  • Maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use.
  • Understand implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

3rd level qualification in quantity surveying, 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, good working knowledge of mechanical & electrical work packages, experience working on large-scale data centers an advantage.
