Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing and building user interface components using React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Your expertise in PostgreSQL and ability to write maintainable and efficient code will be invaluable in driving our software development forward.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Development: Develop and implement user interface components using React, ensuring seamless integration with our software platform.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and database developers, to create engaging user experiences.
  3. Optimization: Continuously improve application performance and scalability, utilizing best practices and modern technologies.
  4. Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and learning-focused environment.
  5. Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  6. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively suggest improvements and new features.
Requirements
  1. 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with React and JavaScript.
  2. Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and popular workflows, preferably Mobx.
  3. Familiarity with PostgreSQL and experience integrating it into applications.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
  5. Strong verbal and written communication skills in fluent English and Swedish, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a willingness to share knowledge and support others.
  7. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile team.
