The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and designing HIL equipment, simulating sensors and new protocols, and ensuring the maintainability and configurability of HIL systems in an ever-changing environment.

We work closely with AD development teams and verification & validation teams to determine the types of HILs needed. This requires a deep understanding of software tool chains, automation, and DevOps.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computer Engineering, Physics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics, and experience in HIL development for real-time systems. They should also be proficient in equipment for electronics system or component testing, and have experience with high-quality software development.

A proactive approach to suggesting enhancements and technological choices is essential, as well as experience with large-scale simulation environments and source code management tools like GIT.

Additional qualifications include knowledge of communication protocols such as DDS, REST API, UDS, Ethercat, and basics of CAN protocol and Canalyzer, CANOE, CAPL. Verification experience and expertise with testing frameworks like pytest and robot framework are also highly valued.
