About the RoleVattenfall AB is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Asset Planner. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our hydrological models and contribute to the development of our fundamental models.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and drive the development of our hydrological models for forecasting and operational production planning.
- Develop and integrate hydrological models with our fundamental models.
- Improve inflow forecasts by incorporating internal meteorological forecasts.
- Develop new model features based on stakeholder requirements.
- Optimize model architecture for efficient use of cloud infrastructure and code/data integration.
- Provide hydrological and price forecasting analyses to support profitable trading strategies.
- Strong interest and experience in Nordic hydrology and power markets.
- Relevant university degree in engineering, hydrology, mathematics, or similar field.
- High computer literacy, particularly in Python programming.
- Ability to facilitate cooperation with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Swedish.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
