The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Java developer to join our payment team, consisting of 4 experienced and skilled developers who value openness and collaboration. As a Java developer at Paf, you will participate in the entire development lifecycle of our payment platform, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance. You will utilize your Java expertise to influence architectural decisions and understand their long-term implications.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop a robust, secure, and scalable payment platform, focusing exclusively on backend development.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement new features and improvements.
- Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
- Contribute to the development of a tech radar to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Java developer with working experience from modern Java and Spring Boot, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Additional skills that make you stand out from the crowd include knowledge of Open Banking and PSD2 regulations, reflecting an understanding of the latest standards in financial technology, and prior experience in the payment processing domain.
