About the Role:

  • Manage all aspects of engineering activities during the proposal, design, and construction stages of FACTS projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, R&D, and local Hitachi Energy units.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative ideas, cost-saving solutions, and value-added concepts to overall system design.
  • Oversee the efficient execution of activities according to contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Lead high-performing teams to successfully execute projects within schedule, budget, and contract constraints.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science degree or equivalent competence gained through experience.
  • At least five years of professional experience in power system business.
  • Documented experience leading engineering teams in a global environment.
  • Strong knowledge of power quality applications, STATCOM, SVC, and FSC.
  • Proven track record in executing complex delivery projects.
