Postdoctoral Research Opportunities in Statistics and Economics

The School of Business at Örebro University is seeking to appoint two talented researchers in statistics or economics. The successful candidates will work within the Division of Statistics or the Division of Economics, which constitutes a common research environment that is currently expanding.

The research focus will be on conducting high-quality research in applied time-series modelling, such as Bayesian VARs. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with a strong research field and contribute to its further development.

The positions are fixed-term, with one running for three years and one for two years. Funding is provided through scholarships from a major Swedish research foundation. The time spent on teaching and supervision will be no more than 30 percent.
