Job Description

Avalanche Studios Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Community Developer to lead the development and growth of our community around Contraband, our upcoming AAA co-op open world action game.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing gaming communities from the ground up and managing communities on various platforms. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the Community Development strategy in collaboration with Product, Marketing, Creative, and Development teams.
  • Collaborate with Microsoft Xbox's community team to deliver best practices.
  • Build and grow tester and early adopter communities that are fun, inclusive, and representative of our player segments.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in community strategy and participation in at least one major game launch.
  • Experience managing communities on various platforms, including Discord and Steam Forums.
  • Proficiency in using common social media tools, sentiment reporting, and analytics.
