About the Role

Gears Of Leo AB is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in fostering a data-driven culture across our company, enabling departments to leverage data comprehensively and facilitating data teams in building models, AI, and machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance: Define data models, standards, and governance policies to ensure consistent and high-quality data across the organization.
  • Emerging Technologies: Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in data management and analytics, recommending strategic adoption to enhance data capabilities.
  • Cloud Data Platforms: Design and implement scalable and maintainable data pipelines and data platforms, leveraging cloud platform tools and technologies such as AWS and GCP.
  • Regulated Markets: Develop a system that enables seamless operation across multiple regulated markets simultaneously.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate the value and impact of data architecture to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
  • Architectural Integrity: Ensure architectural integrity and compliance with data governance and security policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of work experience in data engineering and data platforms.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge with SQL, ETL, data modeling, and Python. Experience working with terabyte to petabyte scale data.
  • Leadership: Designing technical solutions and teaching team members. Building solutions for multiple concurrent regulated markets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • iGaming Industry: Experience from the iGaming industry is meriting.
