We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our Tax Services team in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for executing accurate and timely reporting and payments for all indirect tax returns for the applicable legal entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit all indirect tax reporting filings and requirements for the applicable legal entities, maintaining accurate records and information.
  • Manage corrections, payments, and VAT refunds, as well as reconcile VAT accounts.
  • Support business partners and stakeholders with input and requested information/data, participating in tax audits and relevant projects.
  • Act as first line of contact for questions related to indirect tax, escalating to senior managers if required.
  • Conduct tax training sessions for colleagues, in cooperation with senior managers.
  • Participate in projects implementing solutions to fulfill indirect tax requirements in SAP and other tools.

Requirements

  • \
  • University degree in tax/economics/business or equivalent, with relevant practice.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in indirect tax, knowledge of indirect tax reporting, especially in the DACH region.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong analytical skills, structured approach, flexibility, and openness to change.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, and experience with financial reporting systems.
  • Strong English language skills (German language skills are a plus) and ability to travel when circumstances allow.
