**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our HSE department in Västerås. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of European and Swedish legislation, and the ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary workforce.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and Enforce Policies: Develop and enforce policies to ensure a safe working environment where employees can work without fear of harm.
  • Build and Coach the HSE Team: Build and coach a world-class HSE team to drive compliance with regulations and internal standards.
  • Identify and Mitigate Risks: Identify and mitigate risks associated with practices, procedures, and facilities to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
  • Perform Regular Audits and Inspections: Perform regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and identify areas for improvement.

**Requirements**

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a similar role.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading teams and managing budgets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Legislation Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of European and Swedish legislation related to HSE, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
