Head of Sales Job Description

Grale seeks an experienced sales leader to drive revenue growth and lead our sales operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing a growing sales team, and building strong relationships with customers.

Key Objectives:
  • Sales Execution & Revenue Growth:
    • Actively manage the full sales cycle—from identifying leads and building a pipeline to negotiating and closing deals.
    • Implement proven sales processes and strategies to ensure steady revenue growth and meet ambitious sales targets.
    • Develop and manage detailed sales plans and forecasts, ensuring realistic and achievable goals.
  • Team Development & Performance:
    • Manage and grow a motivated sales team, setting clear targets and providing day-to-day guidance to ensure their success.
    • Train and support team members to improve sales skills, productivity, and overall results.
    • Establish performance tracking tools to monitor progress and take immediate action when targets are off track.
  • Customer Management & Success:
    • Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Act as the point of contact for high-value clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
    • Oversee customer onboarding and success processes to maintain long-term partnerships.
  • Market Focus:
    • Identify and prioritize target customer segments and industries based on potential for growth.
    • Stay up-to-date on market trends to uncover new opportunities and ensure Grale stays competitive.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to align lead-generation efforts with sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive daily sales operations, ensuring targets are met through direct action and team efforts.
  • Oversee and execute outreach to prospective clients, converting leads into loyal customers.
  • Build efficient workflows for pipeline management, tracking progress, and ensuring consistent follow-ups.
  • Lead by example, taking an active role in pitching to potential customers and closing deals.
  • Use sales data to refine strategies and optimize team performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Build a high-performing sales team. Ensure all team members follow best practices in CRM usage and sales documentation.
Ideal Candidate:

To excel in this role, we believe you have:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in sales, including managing the full sales cycle (lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closing).
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, especially in B2B or subscription-based models.
  • Strong operational skills, with the ability to implement and streamline sales processes.
  • Experience in building a sales team and managing the team, with the ability to inspire and guide them to achieve results.
  • A track record of maintaining and growing customer relationships to drive long-term success.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in presenting to clients.
  • Solid understanding of sales tools (CRM systems) and how to leverage data for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish (written and spoken).
