Job Description

The role of Aircraft Maintenance Planner is a challenging opportunity to join the team responsible for ensuring the airworthiness and safety of Scandinavian Airlines' (SAS) fleet.

You will work closely with colleagues across different departments to plan maintenance in compliance with EASA regulations, ensuring the efficient operation of our aircraft.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure airworthy, safe, and economical conditions.
  • Monitor and analyze task due lists, including maintenance program tasks, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, MEL items, and replacement of aircraft components.
  • Schedule work packages and assign individual maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate activities pre- and post-maintenance events.
  • Evaluate performance of service providers and drive improvement in terms of maintenance completion time, cost, or other areas of the maintenance event.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Familiarity with commercial air transport industry.
  • Knowledge of continued airworthiness management tasks and organizations.
  • Understanding of EASA aviation regulations (EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145).
  • Experience working with planning, controlling, and managing Maintenance Program tasks.
  • A background in a technical field or relevant work experience.
