Augmented Reality Researcher

Saab is a leading defense and security company that designs, manufactures, and maintains advanced systems. We are seeking a master's student to conduct research on Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) use cases for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of PLM at Saab. This involves conducting a literature review, designing and performing practical tests using AR/VR headsets, and presenting findings in a comprehensive report.

The objective of this thesis is to explore the potential of AR/VR technologies to enhance PLM processes at Saab Surveillance. The successful implementation of these technologies can have a significant impact on the company's operations.

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Human-Machine Interface
• Strong analytical mindset and passion for emerging technologies
• Familiarity with or interest in PLM tools like Siemens NX and Teamcenter
• Good communication skills and ability to document and present findings effectively
