Role: Senior Projects Director
Location: Sweden
Linxon is seeking a highly experienced professional to lead our project delivery function. Our team delivers a wide range of lump-sum EPC projects in electrical transmission and distribution projects within the utilities and renewable energy sectors across Sweden.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading the project management function to deliver a portfolio of projects from the proposal phase through project execution and closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive project delivery excellence by demonstrating visible safety, environmental, and sustainability leadership.
- Ensure compliance with customer safety management requirements, company systems, applicable laws, and regulations.
- Foster a culture of integrity and adherence to the highest ethical standards by promoting Linxon's Code of Conduct.
- Lead project management teams from proposal preparation to project completion and close-out.
- Be the primary point of contact for customers regarding project delivery.
- Take ownership of project profit and loss.
- Support project managers in meeting project objectives.
- Perform regular site visits to ensure project progress.
- Develop robust project execution plans and oversee implementation.
- Develop resource plans and build project teams.
- Develop a positive team environment and coach project management staff.
- Plan professional development for project management staff to enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management systems.
- Ensure compliance with Linxon policies and customer requirements.
- Perform project reviews and produce regular reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management from an accredited institution.
- Extensive experience in delivering lump-sum EPC projects as a Tier 1 contractor.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of internationally recognised project management standards.
- Strong risk awareness and risk management skills.
