Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Bamber Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and providing support to students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, ensuring a high-quality educational experience for students.
  2. Work with individual or small groups of students to help them achieve their learning goals, providing tailored support and guidance.
  3. Support students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to ensure they have equal access to education.
  4. Contribute to creating a positive and productive classroom atmosphere, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.
  5. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher and contributing to the development of individual learning plans.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience working in primary schools, ideally as a Teaching Assistant, with a strong understanding of the primary education curriculum and classroom practices.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  3. A patient, proactive, and empathetic approach to supporting students, with a commitment to promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.
