We are seeking a skilled Naval Architect to join our team at Saab, a leading defence and security company. As a Naval Architect, you will play a crucial role in the development of our surface ships, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, comfort, and safety.

• Develop General Arrangement designs for our surface ships
• Analyze hydrodynamic and hydrostatic data to optimize ship performance
• Conduct calculations to determine speed and range performance
• Coordinate concept development for surface ships
• Prepare and deliver presentations to customers and colleagues

• Masters degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent
• Recently graduated or with a few years of relevant experience in shipbuilding
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written

• Knowledge and experience in shipbuilding, particularly concept development
• Knowledge and experience in operation of Swedish naval ships
• Experience in project management and coordination
