User Researcher Job Summary:

TN Sweden is a leading developer of entertainment software, dedicated to crafting innovative gaming experiences that bring joy to players worldwide.

We're seeking a seasoned User Researcher to join our UX research team in Stockholm. As a User Researcher for Marketing, you will leverage your expertise in user psychology to help stakeholders understand their audience and develop industry-leading creatives and marketing materials.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on our flagship title, Angry Birds 2. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including user acquisition, advertising creative, analytics, product marketing, and game teams. Your responsibilities will include designing and conducting research studies, analyzing data, and presenting findings to stakeholders through workshops, presentations, and reports.

As a key member of our research team, you will drive player-centric decision-making by championing the user's voice. Your insights will inform strategic decisions, enabling us to effectively market world-class mobile games.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. You will work with projects to understand competitive trends and develop creative strategies that resonate with our target audience.
  2. You will collaborate with UA creative teams to recommend and conduct research, utilizing findings to inform creative direction.
  3. You will investigate and identify the psychological and cognitive levers influencing the effectiveness of mobile marketing campaigns.
  4. You will evaluate and recommend new research techniques, technologies, methodologies, and process improvements.
  5. You will influence, prioritize, and make recommendations based on findings to creative teams, game teams, and studio management.
  6. You will deliver clear, actionable insights to product and marketing teams.
  7. You will advocate research findings to stakeholders through written reports and oral presentations.

About You:

  1. You have 5+ years of experience working in a research role in a business environment.
  2. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in cognitive sciences, human-computer interaction, psychology, advertising, or a related field.
  3. You are passionate about user research and keeping up-to-date with current industry trends.
  4. You have deep knowledge and passion in areas such as cognitive science, advertising, and mobile gaming.
  5. You have some experience researching in an art/creative or advertising environment, preferably using user-centric methods.
  6. You possess extensive knowledge and skills in research design and qualitative and quantitative methods applied in a business environment.
  7. You can translate insights and findings into actionable improvements.
  8. You have demonstrated experience helping organizations improve their research methods.
  9. You have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  10. You have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including partnering with business intelligence and data scientists.
  11. You are proactive, independent, and able to identify research opportunities and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
  12. You are a strong influencer who can push forward key insights/topics to company stakeholders.
