Electromechanical Buyer Role

At Volvo Group, we're driven to shape the future of sustainable transport solutions. As an Electromechanical Buyer, you'll play a vital role in securing high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable electromechanical components for our trucks, buses, and construction equipment.

We're seeking a seasoned buyer with a business-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for purchasing. As an Electromechanical Buyer, you'll be responsible for leading negotiations with our supplier base, ensuring the delivery of high-quality components, and driving the development of our purchasing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with our supplier base.
  2. Lead negotiations to secure high-quality components at competitive prices.
  3. Contribute to the development of our purchasing strategy and drive the implementation of new technologies.
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.

Requirements:

  1. Experience in purchasing or a related field.
  2. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Business-oriented mindset with a focus on cost savings and quality.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
