About the Role Description

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team of fintech professionals at Advisense. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in designing and developing scalable, high-quality solutions for our cloud-based applications.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Cloud-Based Solution Development: Develop serverless functions using Node.js and TypeScript to create scalable, cloud-based solutions that meet our business requirements.
  • Development Process Enhancement: Improve testing, code quality, and reliability to drive continuous improvement in our development processes.
  • TDD Practice Implementation: Implement TDD best practices to enhance product stability and build trust in our systems.
  • Microservices Management: Ensure seamless integration and performance of cloud-based microservices, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.
  • API and Backend System Development: Design and develop APIs and backend systems tailored for fintech applications, handling complex data processing needs with precision.
  • Mentoring and Supporting Team Members: Contribute to a collaborative, skilled, and inclusive team environment by mentoring and supporting your colleagues.
Job Requirements:
  • Professional Background: 2+ years of professional backend development experience, preferably in fintech applications.
  • Technical Competence: Experience in Node.js and TypeScript, serverless architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to mentor others, and a natural problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in fintech applications, such as compliance reporting, risk management, or payment systems.
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar data integration platforms.
  • Basic frontend experience with React.
  • Python programming knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs).
  • Background in financial technology.
