About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Engineer to join our team at Alfa Laval Lund. As a member of our Project Order Bid Hub, you will play a crucial role in managing and providing support in the bidding stage of complex projects with high added value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cost and lead time information for special components using various tools and systems.
  • Analyze customer technical specifications and prepare clarification/deviation lists.
  • Participate in clarification meetings with customers and internal experts.
  • Collaborate with central functions, experts, and sales teams globally.
  • Quote spare parts for Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers in our installed base.
  • Answer technical questions related to bids using our ticket system.
  • Act as a first point of contact for global sales teams on customer special demands.
Requirements
  • University degree in Engineering (preferably mechanical or energy systems) or similar education and/or relevant work experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and good understanding of manufacturing/processes and supply chain.
  • Fluency in English on a high technical level, both spoken and written.
