About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Umeå, Sweden. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for executing product life cycle engineering and supply chain support of new and existing Laboratory Systems and Bioprocess Hardware products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop engineering solutions for improved performance, reliability, cost, and manufacturability of Life Sciences Hardware instrumentation.
  2. Conduct investigations into product and production failure modes to identify root causes, and propose solutions.
  3. Develop and implement product sustaining activities, including concept, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing, and service support.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, including design and analysis of complex systems.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English languages (both written and verbal).
