Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager Engineering to join our PME team in Västerås, Sweden. This role involves leading the engineering work in customer projects, normally electric power installations in the range from 10-400kV.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the project engineering team to deliver results in accordance with contractual agreements, quality standards, HSE requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments.
  • Coordinate with customers, sub-suppliers, and internal/external partners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Plan and manage engineering resources according to Hitachi Energy's governance procedure.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to risk and opportunity identification and continuous improvement works.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in engineering, R&D, or project management roles.
  • Experience with medium to high voltage projects in power systems.
  • Site work experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
