We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Finance Manager who can oversee our financial health and manage both day-to-day financial operations and long-term strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will play an integral part in reporting, analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, all while working in a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, HR reporting, and day-to-day financial control (P&L and Balance Sheet).
  2. Prepare quarterly management accounts and reports for the Board, as well as annual statutory accounts in collaboration with external auditors.
  3. Manage financial processes and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  4. Handle VAT returns, regulatory reporting to HMRC, Charity Commission, Companies House, and other relevant bodies.
  5. Develop and implement efficient financial processes and systems.
  6. Monitor and manage cashflow, payroll, and pension payments.
  7. Collaborate with the Events Manager to ensure accurate financial information within the membership system and oversee Gift Aid processes.
