Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Programmer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying our network engine and SDK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Services and Features: You will be responsible for designing and developing services and features that improve and maintain existing functionality in our network engine and SDK.
  • Write High-Quality Code: You will write high-quality code that supports existing and future functionality of the product.
  • Collaborate with Engineers: You will collaborate with other engineers to improve overall networking performance.
  • Improve Low-Level Network Systems: You will improve low-level network systems to give developers a great development experience.
  • Work with Distributed Teams: You will work within a distributed team and collaborate with colleagues both local and remote.
  • Identify and Surface Risks: You will identify and surface risks in the areas that you are working on.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Professional Experience: You must have 5+ years of professional experience in network or multiplayer programming roles.
  • Relevant Experience with Network Protocols: You must have relevant experience with network protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, also gRPC and others).
  • Excellent Coding Skills: You must have excellent coding skills, fluent preferably in Go, C++ or C#.
  • Working Experience with Unity or Unreal: You must have working experience with Unity or Unreal.
  • Strong Mathematical and Fundamental Computer Science Skills: You must have strong mathematical and fundamental computer science skills.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: You must have a problem-solving mindset, positive attitude, and openness to feedback.
  • Passion for Multiplayer Games: You must have passion for multiplayer games and their potential.
Bonus Points
  • Experience with GitHub and Continuous Integration Environments: Experience with GitHub and continuous integration environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Optimization, Multi-Threaded Systems, and Memory Management: Experience with optimization, multi-threaded systems, and memory management is a plus.
  • Knowledge in and Experience with DOTS / ECS: Knowledge in and experience with DOTS / ECS is a plus.
