We're looking for a talented Analytics Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team, which has developed a comprehensive way of working for ourselves and our stakeholders. Our solutions are built on the modern data stack using FiveTran, Python, DBT, and Snowflake for data ingestion, storage, and modeling, with Tableau as our primary data visualization product.

As an Analytics Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to shape how Instabee builds its analytical data layers, serving everyone in our organization and enabling us to make better decisions. You'll work on analytical projects to help answer hypotheses or solve ideas stakeholders might have, and demonstrate an appetite to try new approaches, staying up to date with market trends and advances in data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build data models that support business processes, where governance and trust in data are critical
  • Be an expert in data transformation techniques using SQL and DBT
  • Work on analytical projects to help answer hypotheses or solve ideas stakeholders might have
  • Demonstrate an appetite to try new approaches, staying up to date with market trends and advances in data processing

Requirements:

  • Experience from a Data Analyst, Data Engineering, or Data Scientist role
  • University degree in an analytical field (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics)
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and command of analytical functions
  • Understanding of data modeling techniques and their value in delivering end-user self-service
  • Good programming skills (Python, Go)
  • Ability to use a data visualization and methodical approach to communicate analytical findings
