The Team

The Product Development team builds on the foundation laid by the Sales team, working closely with clients to transform innovative ideas into tangible products ready for production. Our mission is to ensure seamless collaboration with clients during the proof of concept and prototype production phase.

With nearly 40 team members, including Product Managers, CAD Engineers, and Process Design Engineers, our team fosters a culture of innovation where your contributions will impact our success.

The Role

">

As a Product Manager, your primary responsibility is to develop customized products in collaboration with our customers and Silex's Process Engineers. You will support clients through the product setup phase and early production, ensuring their vision is realized while establishing necessary processes for production. This journey may span several years, covering concept, prototype, and production phases.

In this role, you will blend project management skills with technical knowledge to effectively navigate the product development process. When processing prototypes begins, you will typically spend most of your time in our cleanroom, supporting the process team with inspection and analysis of wafers, focusing on product integration.

You will report to one of our Group Managers within Product Development and work closely with various roles within Silex as well as senior Product Managers in the department. To ensure your success, you will receive comprehensive training alongside a seasoned colleague, gaining valuable insights into our approach to product development at Silex.

  4. Product process development, improvement work, and troubleshooting">

We are seeking someone who wants to grow within the role as Product Manager and within Silex. The responsibility in the role will increase as you develop your skillset in project management and MEMS.

We are looking for someone who:

  1. ">
  2. Holds a Master's degree in Engineering with coursework in Material Physics, Nanotechnology, MEMS, or Material Chemistry">
  3. Demonstrates strong communication skills in both spoken and written English and Swedish, with a proven ability to discuss technical properties in English">
  4. Likes working hands-on in a cleanroom environment; experience from similar work is considered a plus">
  5. Has experience from a Development or Manufacturing environment (beneficial)">
  6. Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic organization, committed to delivering the best outcomes for both customers and the company on time">
