Job Description

The Employee Relations Specialist will play a pivotal role in shaping our ER work across all entities in EMEA. This will involve handling critical employee relations issues that require swift action and challenging current practices to elevate the care and attention we provide to our employees.

You will work closely with our HR and legal departments to drive consistent ER processes across the organization, minimizing risk and ensuring a positive ethical workplace.

Main Accountabilities:
  1. Manage employee relations casework, including disciplinary and grievance, absence management, and performance management.
  2. Investigate policy violations and employee relations matters, taking appropriate action to resolve these issues.
  3. Maintain accurate records of all actions and documentation related to casework.
  4. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee relations skills among HR professionals and line managers.
  5. Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners on interventions required to prevent employee relations risks, manage performance cases effectively, and increase employee engagement.
  6. Contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.
Essential Skills:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in HR and Employee Relations, handling complex casework.
  • Knowledge of UK and Ireland Disciplinary and Grievance processes, with the ability to manage these processes independently.
  • Understanding of Spanish, Swedish, and Polish employment law, with the ability to identify and mitigate employment risks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take necessary actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, employees, and HR peers.
  • Mental Health First-Aider qualification.
