ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controlling Manager to join our team at Boston Consulting Group. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing financial processes, collaborating with regional teams, and influencing senior leadership on strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial principles and the ability to apply this knowledge in a dynamic business environment. They will be responsible for providing in-depth analysis on the broader commercial agenda, profitability, leakage, pricing, and investments, and will lead discussions on revenue management and related topics with senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute revenue management strategies, collaborating and influencing leadership, while introducing, testing, and expanding innovative initiatives.
  • Own the DSO and compliance agenda, ensuring correct and actionable reporting to minimize DSO and mitigate risk.
  • Implement and maintain robust compliance reporting systems to monitor and mitigate business risks, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Seek out and implement new technological tools to optimize business controlling functions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial role in a professional services firm, with a focus on business controlling.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in financial software and a strong attitude for learning new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a focus on high-quality output.
