We are seeking a Sales Engineer who will be accountable for delivering system designs that meet customer and class expectations for our crane and deck machinery product range. This role also entails preparing cost estimates and technical specifications.
The position will be based in various locations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop value-added system designs for ship owners and shipyards Generate equipment cost estimates Create technical specifications (Technical Documents, GA-drawings, Technical Specifications, etc.) Proactively manage hand-over activities to order fulfillment, adhering to established procedures Engage in customer visits Directly discuss technical issues with customer representatives Collaborate with design institutes on development projects as needed Maintain in-depth technical knowledge of products for specific ship types and offerings Relay pertinent customer information to R&D, Engineering, and Sourcing teams Foster collaboration with Area Sales functions to ensure optimal processes Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Policies, and ISO standardsQualifications for Success
Bachelor's degree in technical engineering, preferably in mechanics, electrical, or electronics engineering Proven experience in design and cost estimation Ability to independently make decisions on technological matters Proficient in engineering software Organized, analytical, and self-motivated Fluent in English, both spoken and written Familiarity with quality systems (ISO, OHSAS, etc.)Join Our Team
