The University of Gothenburg's Sahlgrenska Academy is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for teaching and research in occupational therapy, with a strong focus on student-centered learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching occupational therapy students at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels, incorporating both theoretical and practical approaches.
- Conducting original research and actively pursuing external funding opportunities to advance the field of occupational therapy and occupational science.
- Contributing to the development of the primary field of occupational therapy and occupational science through publications, presentations, and other scholarly activities.
Additionally, the successful candidate will contribute to the department's creative research environment and participate in interdisciplinary collaborations nationally and internationally.
Eligibility criteria include demonstrated pedagogical competence, a PhD in occupational therapy or a closely related area, and a licensed occupational therapist (Swedish or foreign license) with clinical professional experience. The ability to teach in both Swedish and English is also required.
