About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Supply Network Quality organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering quality culture and developing our suppliers to world-class performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full end-to-end ownership of your portfolio, including sourcing, project, and running production
  • Selection of the best suitable supplier for a sourcing award, ensuring quality assured project launch
  • Continuous improvement work and zero default mindset, with a focus on risk management skills
  • Building and developing a large network of partners from Suppliers, Buyers, Engineering, Production Plants, Project Stakeholders, and Warranty Department
Requirements
  • Preferred MSc or BSc in Engineering, with >5 years of technical experience
  • Good knowledge and practice of automotive quality standards and tools, such as IATF 16949, VDA, APQP & PPAP
  • Experience from supplier quality work within automotive business
  • Knowledge or experience within areas such as Plastic molding, Rubber, Painting, Airbag, Steering components is an advantage
  • Good English communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • The job needs frequent travels (up to 3-4 times per month during certain periods)
  • Car driving licence B
