DevOps Engineer with Event-Driven Architecture

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced DevOps engineer with a strong focus on working with Kafka. The successful candidate will engage with a diverse and innovative integration ecosystem, collaborating with a highly skilled team that maintains various central integration platforms. The role involves building and configuring Kafka solutions that are easy to maintain and adapt, regardless of tools or languages.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement event-driven architecture solutions using Kafka and other event streaming platforms.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD automation pipelines for platform onboarding and self-service capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud technologies, including Azure and GCP.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in event-driven architecture and cloud computing.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer. They will have a deep understanding of event-driven architecture principles, substantial experience with version control software, and extensive hands-on experience with event platforms such as Solace and Kafka. Strong scripting skills and proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar are also required.
