About the Role:

SAS is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Financial Control team. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing accounting, reconciliation, and balancing of accounts, including supervision of outsourced accounting processes (RTR).

You will work closely with the Maintenance Team and Business Controllers and report to the Manager of Financial Control at our SAS office in Frösundavik. Additionally, you will occasionally work at the Arlanda office.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement financial processes that drive business success. You will also be responsible for managing month-end closing and reporting to the SAS Group Accounting Team and performing annual accounting tasks.

This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues while delivering timely resolutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial data integration and drive process efficiency in partnership with the Business and Maintenance teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee accounting, reconciliation, and balancing of accounts, including supervision of outsourced accounting processes
  • Manage month-end closing and reporting to the SAS Group Accounting Team
  • Perform annual accounting tasks, including annual reports and income tax returns
  • Provide regular and ad hoc audit support
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
