About the Role:

Silex Microsystems is a leading manufacturer of MEMS – Microelectromechanical systems – that are tailored to meet the needs of prominent global customers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and the automotive sector. Founded in 2000 by a team of researchers from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), our headquarters and factory are now located in Järfälla.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a MEMS Integration Engineer, you will be part of the Production Department at Silex, where we strive for efficient high-volume production of MEMS to meet our customers' delivery needs.
• You will be responsible for process and batch management for various MEMS products to ensure timely delivery, monitor and maintain product yields, initiate product improvement programs, handle stopped batches in the factory, and resolve process-related issues.
• You will also learn to maintain and update internal processes and propose and work on improvements to internal systems.
• This is a collaborative role that involves close teamwork with other departments within the organization and external partners.

Requirements:

• A Master's degree or PhD in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Several years of work experience in a relevant manufacturing industry.
• Able to solve problems with precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with Swedish being a plus.
• Able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.
