About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and liquidity of our site's business operations and ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Analysis: Analyze the funding needs of our projects in liaison with Site Controller, Customer Director Finance Controller, and Project Controllers.
  2. Cash Flow Management: Provide follow-up on the global cash cycle through the Projects and site balance sheet and analyze the working capital improvement levers.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Ensure that continuous improvement and action plans are in place through the Site and specifically on projects to generate operating cash flows.
  4. Cash Management: Liaise with the Cash management team and Country FD to make them aware of the site cash status and push to put preventative measures in place to achieve the objectives of the site.
  5. Overdue Payments: Support actions to reduce overdue level.
  6. Bond Management: Control bonds expired and manage actions to reduce them.
  7. Cash Awareness: Train and support the main players in the site on the importance of cash and how to improve it.
  8. Cash Generation: Make the project teams aware of the importance of their role in the cash generation process and the potential levers available to them to improve the liquidity of their project.
  9. Forecasting: Provide reliable data through a structured forecasting system.
  10. Cash Flow Stability: Implement and monitor preventative measures to maintain site cash flow stability.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Experience or understanding of financial forecasting and liquidity management.
  3. Skills: Knowledge of cash flow analysis and working capital optimization, familiarity with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  4. Personal Qualities: Excellent analytical and communication skills, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, resilience in facing challenges and meeting tight deadlines, proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  5. Language: Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
