Accounting Specialist

At SMS group, we are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team in Boden, Sweden. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for financial accounting and cost accounting, working independently in a small global team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in ongoing accounting, including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Participate in group reporting and support in corporate planning and its reporting.
• Creation and reporting of liquidity planning.
• Creation and posting of outgoing invoices, as well as monitoring timely payments and issuing reminders for delays.
• Checking and posting of incoming invoices in S/4HANA, taking into account local law.

Requirements:

• Completed training as an accountant or a financial degree.
• Several years of experience in accounting (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable).
• Knowledge of accounting (K3, IFRS) and electronic communication with authorities.
• Basic knowledge of consolidation in a corporate group.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, and assertiveness.
• Strong commitment, sense of responsibility, and cost awareness.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish VAT law, tax law, including cross-border service exchanges.
• Very good English language skills; knowledge of Swedish and/or German language skills would be an optional asset.
• IT affinity for systems and processes (preferably very good SAP knowledge, e.g., S/4 Hana FI, SD, FI-AA, MM; E-Invoice Readsoft).
